Chicago Police are warning South Side residents after a pair of people were robbed while sitting inside vehicles in the South Chicago neighborhood over the last month.

Two robbers walked up and reach into victims’ vehicles about 10:40 p.m. July 20 in the 2900 block of East 89th Street, and again about 7 a.m. Aug. 3 in the 9000 block of South Muskegon, according to a community alert issued Tuesday.

The robbers are described as two black men or boys between 14 and 22 years old. One was about 5-feet tall and 110 pounds with dreadlocks, the other 5-foot-9, 130 pounds and bald police said.
