The Michigan Avenue bridge will be closed Wednesday night into Thursday morning for maintenance work.

The upper and lower levels of the bridge will close at 11 p.m. Wednesday and reopen at 5 a.m. Thursday, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.

During the closure, drivers heading north on upper Michigan should turn west on Wacker, north on Dearborn, east on Ohio and then back to Michigan, according to CDOT.

Southbound drivers should turn west on Ontario, south on Clark, east on Wacker and back to Michigan.
