Two men were shot Thursday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The men were standing on a corner about 1:45 p.m. in the first block of East 125th Place when someone walked out from behind a house nearby and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

A 24-year-old man was shot in the arm and taken in good condition to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, police said. The other man, thought to be in his 20s, suffered a gunshot wound to the right ankle, and was taken in good condition to Roseland Community Hospital.
