A man was shot in the head Wednesday night in the South Side Back of the Yards neighborhood.

About 9:30 p.m., the 32-year-old was driving west in the 1500 block of West 48th when shots rang out and he was hit in the head, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
