Man was wounded in a shooting Thursday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 20-year-old was standing outside at 4:25 a.m. in the 600 block of North Drake when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the side and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
