A man was wounded in a shooting early Thursday in the Marquette Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 23-year-old was in an alley about 12:50 a.m. in the 7200 block of South Western when a male rode up on a bike and fired at him, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the right leg and took himself to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
