The always strong Chicago Elite Classic just got stronger as both Curie and East St. Louis will now be part of the event.

Curie has been added to the field of teams that will play at the UIC Pavilion Dec. 2-3.  The defending Class 4A champs will be among the top teams in Illinois this winter.

Coach Mike Oliver’s Condors return Elijah Joiner, one of the top 10 senior prospects in the Class of 2017. Curie will also have back 6-7 junior Treavon Martin, 6-7 junior Tyree Martin, 6-4 senior Terry Smith and senior guard Allante Pickens.

The return of Jeremiah Tilmon, the 6-10 Illinois commit, is a plus for East St. Louis and Illinois high school basketball fans. Tilmon, the state’s No. 1 college prospect, has transferred back from La Lumiere in Indiana.
