Man shot in South Chicago

A man was shot in the South Chicago neighborhood Monday morning.

About 10:30 a.m., the 30-year-old showed up at Trinity Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm, according to Chicago Police.

He told investigators he’d been shot in the 8300 block of South Saginaw but was otherwise uncooperative, police said. His condition was stabilized.

Chicago Fire Department crews responded to the fire around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of West 16th Street. No injuries were reported. The fire was put out about 9:30 p.m.
