Three teenage boys were shot and wounded by a man who came out of an alley and opened fire as they stood outside in the 5700 block of West Potomac Avenue in Austin just before 7 p.m. Saturday.

The police said a 17-year-old, shot in the chest, and a 15-year-old, shot in the buttocks and abdomen, were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, and the third boy, 15, was shot in his left leg and taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
