A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a drive-by shooting around 7:45 p.m. Saturday as he stood outside in the 1000 block of West 79th Street, according to the police.

They said two vehicles pulled up and people inside both opened fire, grazing the boy’s upper back as he ran away. He was taken to Stroger Hospital.
