A man was critically wounded in a shooting Sunday morning in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

At 2:19 a.m., the 25-year-old was driving in the 4100 block of West 21st Street when he stopped at a stop sign and a male walked up and shot him multiple times, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
