A 14-year-old boy was wounded in an Austin neighborhood shooting Sunday evening on the West Side.

About 6:15 p.m., he was on a sidewalk in the 4800 block of West Augusta when a car pulled up, four people got out and at least one of them opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The boy was shot in the left thigh and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.

Police said the shooting likely was gang-related.

Fans said they liked the new amenities and features in the $4.7 billion stadium proposal unveiled Wednesday, although some worried the south lakefront could become even more congested than it is now.
