A man was shot in the Ashburn neighborhood Sunday night on the Southwest Side.

About 8:15 p.m., the 22-year-old was getting out of a car in the 3700 block of West 82nd Street when another vehicle pulled up and someone inside it opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered gunshot wounds to the left hand and leg and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
