Two 28-year-old men were shot in the Englewood neighborhood Sunday night on the South Side.

They were on a sidewalk in the 7000 block of South Green about 8:20 p.m. when someone walked up and opened fire, hitting one man in the abdomen and the other in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

They were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where the first man was listed in critical condition and the man with the leg wound was in good condition.

Police said the shooting likely was gang-related.
