Man shot in Bronzeville

A 23-year-old man was shot Monday in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

About 4:45 p.m., the man was shot in the foot in the 4700 block of South Prairie Avenue, according to Chicago Police.

The man was transported to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
