An 18-year-old man has been charged with stabbing a man at a house party early Sunday in northwest suburban Woodstock.

Bryan Estrada was charged with one felony count of aggravated battery and one misdemeanor count of battery, according to a statement from Woodstock police.

Estrada was at a party in the 500 block of East Jackson Street in Woodstock at 1:26 a.m. when one of the residents requested that the partygoers leave the home, according to police.

A fight broke outside the house, and Estrada pulled a knife and stabbed the 31-year-old man once in the rib cage, police said.

The victim was airlifted to Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, police said. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Estrada was arrested a short time later at his home in the 400 block of Leah Lane in Woodstock, police said. He was ordered held at the McHenry County Adult Correctional Facility on a $30,000 bond.
