A man and woman were shot Monday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened at 9:43 a.m. in the first block of South Whipple, according to Chicago Police.

The 35-year-old man was shot in the leg and arm and the 49-year-old woman was shot in the leg, police said.

They took themselves to Mount Sinai Hospital, where they were listed in good condition.
