Three homes have been burglarized while residents were inside over the last two weeks in southwest suburban Tinley Park.

The latest break-ins happened early Monday in the 16100 block of Eagle Ridge Drive, where someone forced their way into one home and walked into another that was unlocked , according to a statement from Tinley Park police. A purse was stolen.

The first burglary happened Aug. 12 in the 6800 block of Zurich Lane. The suspect went into an unlocked car, used a garage door opener to get into the house, took the cars keys from a purse and then took off in the car, police said. It was later recovered in Chicago.

No one was hurt, and none of the victims have seen the burglar, police said.
