A man was shot in the West Garfield Park neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting happened at 2:24 p.m. in the 4100 block of West Madison, according to Chicago Police.

The 22-year-old man suffered at least one gunshot wound and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
