Cubs fans have been thinking about the 2016 postseason since, well, November. And today, Major League Baseball released its official schedule for October.

The one-game wild-card games are set for Tuesday, Oct. 4 (American League), and Wednesday, Oct. 5 (NL).

The AL Division Series are scheduled to start on Thursday, Oct. 6, and Game 1 of both NLDS will be Friday, Oct. 7.

The AL Championship Series is scheduled to begin Friday, Oct. 14, with Game 1 of the NLCS set for Saturday, Oct. 15.

Because the AL won the All-Star Game last month, Game 1 of the World Series is set for Tuesday, Oct. 25. The NL would play host to its first World Series game with Game 3 set for Friday, Oct. 28.

The schedule remains tentative pending weather.
