A man was shot in the Englewood neighborhood Tuesday evening.

The 26-year-old was in the 6500 block of South Wentworth about 6:55 p.m. when a vehicle approached and someone inside opened fire, police said.

He took himself to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, police said.
