A 42-year-old man was hurt in a domestic-related shooting Tuesday morning in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

He was in the 800 block of North Leclaire Avenue about 11:40 a.m. when a male wearing all black clothing walked up and fired several shots, according to Chicago Police. The shooter then ran away.

The man was shot in the thigh, and was taken in fair condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

Police said the shooting was thought to be domestic-related.
