The Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2004 Nissan SUV were both heading east in the 400 block of Lacy Avenue about 4:50 p.m. when the motorcycle struck the SUV, according to Streamwood police.

The motorcyclist, 28-year-old Ryan Hail of Streamwood, was thrown from the bike, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:20 p.m., authorities said.
