Man shot in Washington Park

A man was shot Wednesday morning in the South Side Washington Park neighborhood.

The shooting happened at 10:57 a.m. in the 5900 block of South King, according to Chicago Police.

The 33-year-old was shot in the back and arm, and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Details about the shooting weren’t immediately available.
