Overnight lane closures are scheduled to begin Friday evening in northwest suburban Harwood Heights.

Between 8 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday, northbound Harlem Avenue at Lawrence Avenue will be reduced to one lane, according to a statement from IDOT.

The lane closure is needed for road work, IDOT said.
