A man was wounded and a woman was injured in a shooting in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side Friday afternoon.

Both were in a vehicle at 4:34 p.m. in the 12200 block of South Wallace when someone began shooting at them, according to Chicago Police.

The man, 35, was shot in the forehead and the woman, 37, was injured by shattered glass, police said. They took themselves to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, where the woman was treated for her injuries.

The man was transferred to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.
