A northwest suburban Streamwood man won a $600,000 lottery prize earlier this month.

Michael Loveisky hit the jackpot when his Quick Pick ticket matched all five numbers – 04 – 20 – 25 – 29 – 35 – in the Wednesday, Aug 3, midday drawing, according to a statement from the Illinois Lottery.

“I heard that a big prize-winning ticket was sold at the store where I bought my ticket, and it turns out the big winner is me,” Loveisky said.

Loveisky, who has lived in Streamwood for 20 years, said he plans to use his winnings to travel and to invest for retirement.

TJ Liquor, 149 Front Street in Wood Dale, will receive a bonus of $6,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
