Man shot in Hermosa

A man was shot early Sunday in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 32-year-old was sitting on his porch at 4:26 a.m. in the 2100 block of North Kedvale when a black SUV pulled up and someone inside fired shots, striking the man in the right shoulder, chest area, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
