A woman was shot early Monday in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.
The 29-year-old was sitting on a porch about 12:15 p.m. in the 200 block of East 60th Street when shots rang out and she was struck, Chicago Police said.
She suffered a graze wound to the right ankle and refused medical attention, police said.
Beginning Monday, all Advocate Health Care locations will no longer limit the number of patient visitors nor require face masks “under most circumstances,” the health care system announced Friday.
Two cars derailed, but no injuries were reported and no hazardous materials were released, a Canadian Pacific spokesperson said. The tracks were cleared in hours.
The two parties don’t appear to be close.
