Police are cautioning residents of the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side after three robberies were reported last month.

According to an alert issued by Area Central detectives, the robberies occurred:

-in the 3000 block of West Cermak on July 10 at 2:30 p.m.;

-in the 2800 block of West Cermak on July 11 at 2:30 p.m.;

-in the 2800 Block of West 23rd Street on July 30 at 1 a.m.

In each case, a man walked up to a victim and demanded their property, police said. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 25 years old with short hair.
