A Chase Bank branch was robbed Tuesday afternoon in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The robbery happened at the branch at 353 W. 83rd St. at 2:21 p.m., FBI spokesman Garrett Croon said.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-6 black man with a slim build, and salt-and-pepper hair, Croon said.

FBI agents were on their way to the scene.
