Rain was tapering off heading into the the 6 a.m. hour and flash flood warnings dropped in the Chicago area, however, with road conditions expected to clear through the morning commute.

No reported delays at the airport. A double-decker express train to O’Hare might help make getting there easier and quicker, too.
