A teenage boy was wounded in a shooting early Wednesday in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 17-year-old was standing on a street corner at 12:17 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Sacramento when a dark-colored van pulled up and someone inside fired at him, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said. A police source said the boy is a documented gang member.
