Man shot in West Chatham

A man was wounded in a shooting early Thursday in the West Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 24-year-old was sitting in the back seat of a car at 12:56 a.m. in the 8800 block of South Princeton when someone fired shots into the car, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the back of the neck and taken to Trinity Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
