A man was critically wounded in a shooting late Wednesday in the South Side Grand Boulevard neighborhood.

About 11 p.m., the 24-year-old was sitting in a parked car in the 4700 block of South Michigan when someone in black pickup shot him in the back, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to Provident Hospital and was later taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
