A man was shot in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side Thursday night.

The 20-year-old was standing in a parking lot in the 5600 block of West Division about 9:50 p.m. when someone in black clothing walked up and shot him, police said.

He was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. His condition had stabilized.
