A person was wounded in a shooting Friday morning in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The man, whose age was not immediately known, was walking in the 1500 block of South Kostner at 9:35 a.m. when an older vehicle drove by and someone inside shot him in the leg, arm and back, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, in serious condition. Initially his condition was reported as stabilized, police said.
