An 18-year-old from Berwyn killed himself by stepping in front of a train Friday morning in McCook, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, which ruled the death a suicide Saturday.

He was pronounced dead just before 10 a.m. on the tracks in an industrial yard near the 7600 block of 47th Street, according to the medical examiner’s office.
