Man charged with trying to lure girl into vehicle in Elgin

An Elgin man has been charged with trying to lure a 16-year-old girl into a vehicle July 19 in the northwest suburb, according to the police, who said the girl ignored him and continued walking., was followed and refused to get inside, after which the man drove away.
