Man shot in Lawndale

A man was shot early Monday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The 20-year-old was walking about 1 a.m. on the sidewalk in the 4000 block of West Grenshaw when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left arm, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
