A man was shot late Sunday in the Archer Heights neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 20-year-old was in a vehicle at 11:09 p.m. that was stopped at a red light in the 4500 block of South Pulaski when a dark-colored SUV pulled alongside his vehicle and a male inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left leg and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
