A man was shot Monday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 21-year-old man was shot in the leg at 3:33 p.m. in the 3700 block of West Arthington, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition was stabilized, according to police.

Additional details were not immediately available.
