A man was shot in the leg Monday afternoon in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

About 3:05 p.m. the 36-year-old man was walking in the 4800 block of South Damen when he heard shots and felt pain, according to the Chicago Police.

Additional details were not immediately available.
