A man was shot in the head and critically wounded in the Rogers Park neighborhood Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old was shot about 8:30 p.m. in the 7300 block of North Rogers, police said.

He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston in critical condition, police said.
