Man shot in Woodlawn

A man was wounded in a shooting late Monday in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

At 11:19 p.m., the 31-year-old was standing on a corner in the 6400 block of South Maryland when he heard shots and realized he’d been shot in the left arm, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
