A man was shot on his porch Wednesday night in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 37-year-old was on his back porch about 9:08 p.m. in the 4900 block of West Superior when two males fired shots from the alley, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
