An unclaimed lottery ticket worth $225,000 was sold last week in southwest suburban Morris.

The quick pick ticket, sold at the Jewel-Osco at 1414 N. Division in Morris, matched all five numbers – 11 – 13 – 21 – 24 – 27 – in the Saturday, Aug. 27 Lucky Day Lotto drawing, according to a statement from the Illinois Lottery. Another winning ticket was sold in Rockford.

The winner has up to a year from the drawing date to claim the prize at one of the Lottery’s prize centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. The store will receive a bonus of $2,250, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
