A 31-year-old man was shot in the foot Saturday night by someone who walked up to him as he stood in front of a home in the 5700 block of South Seeley Avenue in West Englewood on the South Side, according to the police.

They said the shooting was gang-related and that the man was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition.
