Six people were injured in a crash on the inbound Stevenson Expressway on the Southwest Side on Monday afternoon.

The crash happened about 4:43 p.m. on inbound I-55 near Damen, according to Chicago Fire Media.

Six people were taken to Mercy Hospital and University of Illinois Hospital. Four were in good condition and two in fair condition, Fire Media said. A seventh person declined treatment.

All inbound lanes were closed but were open again as of 5:15 p.m. Monday, according to Illinois State Police.
