A west suburban Geneva man recently won $100,000 on a scratch-off ticket, the Illinois Lottery announced Thursday.

Bob Gamboni purchased and scratched his $10 Million Cash Bonanza ticket at 7-Eleven, 621 W. State St. in Geneva, according to the lottery. He instantly won a $100,000 prize.

Gamboni said he plans to use the money to pay his bills and will also invest some of his winnings, the lottery said.
